So Cool 2-Page Kit

Masculine and boy themed scrapbooking pages can be hard to create. The typical girly elements (flowers, bows, ruffles and sparkles) don't apply and it can be difficult to think of creative ways to embellish your pages. Whenever we come across good boy themed product we grab it so we can make great layouts for when you're just not up to the creative challenge (or don't have time!)

This layout uses Echo Park's Game On line. It's one of their fantastic mini themes and it works for all ages. We used different techniques to embellish the pages. We put foam squares under the banner pieces to make them pop off the page, and layered some circles, brads and buttons in with some washi tape to keep the eye moving across the layout. We edged all of the papers with brown distressing ink to give it a finished look and tie all of the elements together, but what really makes this layout stand out is the color scheme. It works for so many different events and photos!
