Picture Perfect 4-Page Kit

The pictures of this don't do it justice...this is one cute kit! Perfect for any occasion, these pages use October Afternoon's Daily Flash: Snapshots line. Various washi tapes, buttons and twine add interest and details. Layering and popping the stickers up with foam dots give it texture, and the handmade mini banner is the perfect finishing touch.

Boxed Stationary Set Class

Everyone loves a handmade card, so why not keep a variety of them on hand for any occasion with this fabulous boxed stationary set? Box includes a space to hold 8 note cards, 8 envelopes and stamps. 

The original instructions were found via Pinterest on the Club Scrap Creates blog. The only adjustment I made was making the box 6" tall instead of the 6.25" it calls for. It still holds a pack of standard sized card envelopes but this way you can get two sets out of one sheet of 12x12 cardstock.

This project uses papers from Teresa Collins' Life Emporium line, with hints of Save The Date and Daily Stories mixed in. The decorative flower embellishment is made from layers of patterned paper, torn book pages, a paper doily and burlap. The note cards use a variety of fun card decorating techniques.

Giggle 2-Page Kit

This adorable kit was made with October Afternoon's Daily Flash: Girl Talk line and a little hint of Doodlebug twine. The decorative scallop detail is hand drawn then cut, giving it a whimsical feel. The labels are popped up with foam squares and layered to give it a little dimension. This kit is perfect for your cute girly pics!

Card Club: January 2015

Join us the last Sunday of every month from 2-4pm at the NOCO Crop Stop in Windsor, Colorado for Card Club! Each month we will feature two brand new, exclusive cards for $6. Have fun with friends as you create some gorgeous, easy to assemble cards!

Here's what we'll be making on Sunday, January 25th. They feature Echo Park's Creative Agenda papers with a Simple Stories' DIY sticker. Learn how to make a layered banner accent with a fun flower embellishment!

Please bring some basic class supplies: scissors, adhesive, paper trimmer, foam squares, glue dots and distressing inks (optional).

Hugs & Kisses 1-Page Kit

This week's 1-pg kit uses some of Simple Stories' Hugs & Kisses paper and Fundamentals Cardstock stickers, as well as some Dots and Stripes from Echo Park. I used the same heart garland from the Valentine Pages and added a layered and distressed flower made with various sized circle punches. Buttons and washi tape complete the layout adding just the right details.

Valentine Pages

This adorable 4-page Valentine themed scrapbook kit uses Simple Stories' Hugs & Kisses "Smitten" paper and Fundamentals Cardstock Stickers, as well as Echo Park's Dots and Stripes paper. We added some heart shaped paper doilies found at Hobby Lobby and a classic black and white polka dot one from Doodlebug (the same doilies we used on the Valentine Cards). The red heart shaped paper garland and washi tape add just the right touches to these fun pages!

So Cool 2-Page Kit

Masculine and boy themed scrapbooking pages can be hard to create. The typical girly elements (flowers, bows, ruffles and sparkles) don't apply and it can be difficult to think of creative ways to embellish your pages. Whenever we come across good boy themed product we grab it so we can make great layouts for when you're just not up to the creative challenge (or don't have time!)

This layout uses Echo Park's Game On line. It's one of their fantastic mini themes and it works for all ages. We used different techniques to embellish the pages. We put foam squares under the banner pieces to make them pop off the page, and layered some circles, brads and buttons in with some washi tape to keep the eye moving across the layout. We edged all of the papers with brown distressing ink to give it a finished look and tie all of the elements together, but what really makes this layout stand out is the color scheme. It works for so many different events and photos!

Valentine Card Set

This year's Valentine cards use paper from the Mix & Match line from Kaisercraft, along with a little Teresa Collins Hello My Name Is. The sentiments are Simple Stories' DIY stickers and a clear overlay from My Mind's Eye, which I popped up with some foam squares to add a little dimension. 

I like lots of texture on my cards, so I used some decorative ribbon that I had on hand and a little polka dot tulle, along with some red and white twine from Doodlebug. My favorite embellishments on these cards are the paper doilies! They remind me of old fashioned valentine cards, but the color scheme here gives it a little more edge and makes them a bit more sophisticated. 

This kit is easy enough for even a beginner to put together! Everything is pre cut for you with a photo to guide your assembly. You can purchase a kit here while supplies last.

Winter Wonderland Kit

Wow, it's been a minute since the blog has been updated...we've been a little busy re-branding our company and moving into an awesome crop room/scrapbooking co-op in Windsor Colorado called NOCO Crop Stop (website will be finished soon so keep checking back!) I'll make a separate post about that later, but first I wanted to show off one of our gorgeous new kits this week!

Ok, this $5 1-page kit is called "Winter Wonderland" and it features the Woodland Winter line from Bo Bunny. We LOVE the colors in this kit! They will really make your snowy photos POP. This kit uses a couple of fun products/techniques: corrugated grey cardboard (which we tore a little for a distressed look), washi tape, layered and distressed circle accents, sparkly bling, and a little Simple Stories snowman sticker from their DIY Christmas line.
