Boxed Stationary Set Class

Everyone loves a handmade card, so why not keep a variety of them on hand for any occasion with this fabulous boxed stationary set? Box includes a space to hold 8 note cards, 8 envelopes and stamps. 

The original instructions were found via Pinterest on the Club Scrap Creates blog. The only adjustment I made was making the box 6" tall instead of the 6.25" it calls for. It still holds a pack of standard sized card envelopes but this way you can get two sets out of one sheet of 12x12 cardstock.

This project uses papers from Teresa Collins' Life Emporium line, with hints of Save The Date and Daily Stories mixed in. The decorative flower embellishment is made from layers of patterned paper, torn book pages, a paper doily and burlap. The note cards use a variety of fun card decorating techniques.

Card Club: January 2015

Join us the last Sunday of every month from 2-4pm at the NOCO Crop Stop in Windsor, Colorado for Card Club! Each month we will feature two brand new, exclusive cards for $6. Have fun with friends as you create some gorgeous, easy to assemble cards!

Here's what we'll be making on Sunday, January 25th. They feature Echo Park's Creative Agenda papers with a Simple Stories' DIY sticker. Learn how to make a layered banner accent with a fun flower embellishment!

Please bring some basic class supplies: scissors, adhesive, paper trimmer, foam squares, glue dots and distressing inks (optional).

Valentine Card Set

This year's Valentine cards use paper from the Mix & Match line from Kaisercraft, along with a little Teresa Collins Hello My Name Is. The sentiments are Simple Stories' DIY stickers and a clear overlay from My Mind's Eye, which I popped up with some foam squares to add a little dimension. 

I like lots of texture on my cards, so I used some decorative ribbon that I had on hand and a little polka dot tulle, along with some red and white twine from Doodlebug. My favorite embellishments on these cards are the paper doilies! They remind me of old fashioned valentine cards, but the color scheme here gives it a little more edge and makes them a bit more sophisticated. 

This kit is easy enough for even a beginner to put together! Everything is pre cut for you with a photo to guide your assembly. You can purchase a kit here while supplies last.
