are joining forces!!

We are teaming up for good to provide Northern Colorado the best of both stores!

We have decided to restructure our business and focus solely on providing the quality kits you love, and support Scrap 2 It in providing you all the great selection of product you love to craft with!
We will be stationed within their store to create and sell our kits as well as designing some classes for Scrap 2 It.

Tips & Techniques: Prima Resist Canvas

We have a new item in the store that'll add some really COOL flair to your next project! They're Resist Canvas embellishments from Prima, and we have them in two styles! I used them on the (now sold out) Limited Edition Album last month, and took pics along the way so you all could see just how cool these things are.

 They are little pieces of canvas with designs embossed on them, and when you spray them with Glimmer Mist or Smooch Spritz, the embossed design stays light while the rest of the canvas soaks up the color! Here's a little before & after shot of a small selection of the pack I opened.

And here's how you do it:
Fist, choose the embellishment you want and grab your spray. Spray enough on your piece to completely cover it, or choose two or three colors and make sure that between the three the piece has been fully covered.

Gently wipe off any excess spray and blot your piece with a rag or paper towel. Continue with the next color if using more than one color.

Next, you can distress it even more with some distress ink. Here I used Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain, and dabbed it around the edges with the ink applicator (either the foam or felt ones should work!)

And voila! Your piece is complete! Here is a close up of the before & after:

Each piece is unique with a different pattern embossed on the front, and each pack contains 31 pieces. You just need a strong adhesive (I used Glue Dots) to attach them to your project. That's it!

New product, new markdowns and a new low clearance price!

If you haven't been in in a while you're in for a treat! We've been making TONS of great changes in the store!

To start off with, we have 16 (SIXTEEN!!!) new lines in and more on the way! The cutest paper and embellishments from top manufacturers are filling our fixtures and we're LOVING it. With each new line we will be making a $10 2-pg kit as well.

We have also decided to share our huge space with another wonderful local business, Cherry Lime Boutique! It's like having a store within a store! They have the CUTEST gift items made by local crafters...everything from jeans & purses to jewelry, hair clips, tutus and home decor. The best part is that it all supports local crafters & artisans!

They will be adding to their selection every week, so check back often. You'll be sure to find the perfect gift item for a loved one (or for yourself)!

To make room for all the new product we've gotten in, we decided to purge our clearance area and take tons of new markdowns! And the best part is, we've changed our clearance price from 30% off  to 50% off the original price! With prices that low it won't last long, so stop in and get it while you can!

We've also created a "sale wall" where everything is 20% off! There's a ton of cute spring and baby items up for grabs, as well as birthday, Disney, zoo and girly papers & embellishments.

First up: Garage Sale! This is a two day event going on Saturday, March 31st through Sunday, April 1st.You'll find some AWESOME deals on scrapbooking, card making, paper crafting and other craft supplies from our many sellers, including a Cricut Expression that comes with three cartridges! Doors open at 10:00am on Saturday.


If you've been following our Facebook Fan Page, you've probably noticed our Fan Of The Week that posts every Thursday afternoon.
